Service Mindset Essential for a Clean Society: Registrar Dr. G. Srinivas, Cluster University, Kurnool

Registrar of Cluster University, Kurnool, Dr. G. Srinivas emphasized that every individual must cultivate a spirit of service to ensure clean and healthy surroundings. He made these opine while appreciating the efforts of NSS Unit-3 volunteers during their Special Camp organized under the leadership of Program Officer Dr. B. Anusha on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Srinivas stated that students should adopt cleanliness as a daily responsibility and uphold the true essence of NSS — selfless service.

As part of the World AIDS Day awareness activities, volunteers conducted a rally at Dinne Devarapadu village, Kurnool Rural, raising slogans on AIDS prevention and societal responsibility. Silver Jubilee Government College In-Charge Principal Dr. Nagaraja Shetty motivated the students to continue progressing with a service-oriented mindset.

At the Paspula Village, Special Camp of Unit-1, Kodumur MLA Boggula Dastagiri participated as the chief guest and appreciated the dedication of NSS volunteers. He said that service brings discipline and positive attitude among youth. The program was guided by NSS Program Officer Dr. R. Vinolya Kumari.

Similarly, Unit-2 organized activities at Venkanna Bavi village under the leadership of Mr.EM Harish Babu, involving volunteers and local school staff.

At Masjid-e-Masa, Sunkesula Road, Kurnool, NSS Unit-2 of KVR Government College for Women, led by Program Officer Smt.Helen Kumary, launched community service initiatives. College In-Charge Principal Dr.Ranga Reddy, Cluster University NSS Coordinator Smt.A.Jayalakshmi, and volunteers took part in the program.

NSS Unit-1 of the KVR college, under Program Officer Dr. B. Nikitha, began their Message Special Camp at Mamidalapadu village with active participation of students and staff.

Government Degree College for Men, Kurnool, volunteers carried out community services at Venkayapalle village under Program Officer Mr.R. Roshanna. Principal Dr. M. Indira Shanti, local leaders, and volunteers attended the program.

Another team from GDC for Men, guided by Program Officer Mr.S. Somashekar and Principal Dr. Indira Shanti, conducted NSS activities at Muzaffar Nagar Village, Kurnool Rural, involving retired SP I. Venkatesh, school representatives, and village volunteers.

Across three NSS units and seven Program Officers, volunteers successfully organized AIDS awareness rallies and various service-oriented initiatives under the jurisdiction of Cluster University, Kurnool.
