Digi Saksham Skilling Country: India, 2021

Central Labour Minister Bhupendra Yadav launched the Digi Saksham skill development program in October 2021.

 

Training program to unemployed youth.

Ministry of Labour and Microsoft India joint initiative to improve Digi skills 

First phase: free basic and advanced computer skills training up to 3 lakh unemployed youth.

NCS: national career service: NCS, this is the official portal for training.

The priority for those who are lost jobs due to COVID-19.

three types of training:

1. digital skills self-paced learning
2. VILT mode training ( in guidance of virtual instructor-led )
3. ILT mode training ( instructor )

ILT: NCSC model career centers MCCs will provide training to sc /st category students throughout India
